About the plant :

Tansy is a perennial herbaceous plant in the Asteraceae family. An aromatic plant, its flowers were used in herbal teas for their tonic, antispasmodic and febrifuge properties. Used by beekeepers in their smokers, it is said to have a calming effect on bees. It repels ticks and mosquitoes, which hate its smell.
