ROSMARINUS OFFICINALIS L. CINEOLIFERUM
Origin : Arôma'plantes
Distilled part : Flowers and leaves
Main components :A-pinene, 1,8-cineole, camphene
Known for its virtues for a very long time, the Egyptians used Rosemary in the tombs of the pharaohs because it was said to strengthen their souls. It was used for ceremonies such as weddings, where the bride and groom wore rosemary wreaths to symbolise love and fidelity, and it was burnt like lavender during plague epidemics to purify the air. This variety of Rosemary, which contains cineole, has nothing to do with Rosemary with camphor, which is better for muscles and digestion, and Rosemary with verbenone, which is indicated for liver disorders.
We use the Cineol Rosemary Essential oil in our solid soap Bulles de Fraîcheur.
