THYMUS VULGARIS LINALOLIFERUM
Origin : Arôma'plantes
Distilled part : flowers
Main components : Linalol, acetate de linalyle, b-trans-caryophyllene
Thyme was widely used for its antiseptic and tonic properties. In Ancient Egypt, it was used for mummification rituals because it stopped the proliferation of bacteria. In the Middle Ages, its anti-epidemic properties made it an ideal treatment for ulcers, leprosy, etc. There are many different varieties of Thyme, and each variety has distinct effects, so it's important to keep them apart. Unlike carvacrol thyme, linalool thyme is much milder.
We use the Linalol Thyme Essential oil in our solid soap Bulles des Champs.
