About the plant :

The Hyssop is native to southern Europe, North Africa, western Asia (Near East and Caucasus), it was naturalized throughout Europe and North America. It is cited in the Middle Ages in the Capitular De Villis, a list of plants recommended for cultivation in the gardens of monasteries under Charlemagne.

• Powerful viricide, it is a good expectorant and fluidifying secretions.
