About the plant :
Native to southern Africa, the Pelargonium - or Florist's Geranium - belongs to the Geraniaceae family. Over the centuries, gardeners have tried numerous hybridizations, and today there are over 600 species of Geranium! The specific epithet graveolens comes from Latin and means “strong-smelling”. Geranium oil is one of the most sought-after fragrances in most rose-scented perfumes and soaps.
