Organic Juniper essential oil

Juniper was used during antiquity in fumigations to ward off infections because it was disinfectant and the branches were burned in case of plague or cholera epidemic. He was also supposed to drive out demons and witchcraft. Today, juniper berries perfume sauerkraut and pâtés, and are part of the recipe for certain dishes of game or fatty meats, especially because of their digestive properties. A juniper essential oil is produced by steam distillation of berries and twigs, it takes about 100 kg of berries to obtain 1,5 kg of essential oil.
