About the plant :
Known for its virtues for a very long time, the Egyptians used Rosemary in the tombs of the pharaohs because it was said to strengthen their souls. It was used for ceremonies such as weddings, during which the bride and groom wore crowns of Rosemary to symbolise love and fidelity, and it was burnt like Lavender during plague epidemics to purify the air.

Here are some properties of Rosemary:
- It greatly facilitates the proper functioning of the liver and regulates menstruation.
- It relieves digestive problems by preventing intestinal fermentation, heartburn, gas (flatulence) and loss of appetite.
- A general stimulant, Rosemary is appreciated during periods of fatigue and is recommended for its antioxidant properties: one of its virtues is to aid memory, another is to relieve rheumatic pain.
- Anti-stress and anti-fatigue, it prevents insomnia and helps combat intellectual overwork.
- Rosemary has been used as a natural migraine remedy for centuries.
- As a diuretic, it reduces the risk of kidney stones and gout.
- It treats inflammation of the respiratory and ENT tracts (ears, nose and throat).
- Antiseptic, it treats wounds and infections and cleanses the skin.
Rosemary leaves go very well with grilled lamb and mutton, poultry and rabbit.
